The Vinyl Room Düsseldorf
The Vinyl Room is your record store in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim. A visit might begin with just a general direction: soul, rock, krautrock or the eighties. Then your hand stops above a crate. You flip back, pull out a sleeve and recognise the pressing you have spent years searching for. For a moment, the whole room is about that one record.
The store grew out of the German-language YouTube channel The Vinyl Room ↗. That is why you will meet people here from across the German-speaking world, some of whom you may already know from the live streams. Browse, compare pressings and join the conversation.

Individual records can cost €4,000 to €5,000 – with something for every budget in between.
That is exactly what The Vinyl Room is known for.
Original vintage vinyl
Our focus is on US first pressings in funk, soul, rock, progressive rock and disco. You will find just as many German and European first pressings, plenty of music from the eighties, plus krautrock and psychedelic rock.
If you are looking for used records in Düsseldorf, condition makes all the difference. Second pressings only reach the racks when they make sense – for example, when the first pressing costs a four-figure sum.
New every week
Every Thursday at 7 p.m., we present the highlights of the latest arrivals in a live stream on the German-language channel The Vinyl Room. You can discover what is new before the weekend begins.

The Vinyl Room is more than a sales floor. Browse, talk about pressings and meet people from the community. At the black-steel table and in the Bauhaus chairs, you can take your time with the records and with one another. Everyone gets a coffee – even if you are simply here to look around.
